I really enjoyed Day 1 of the Holiday Card Workshop and decided to make another card. This one based on the card from Jennifer. I didn't have the same stamps and papers but I made due with things that I had on hand.
I used the starry Sky background stamp from Hero Arts and stamped it with Memories Unicorn Pigment ink. I used a scrap piece of pattern paper that I had from another project to cut out my tree shape and then used white enamel accents to give it some dimension. The outside greeting is from the Lawn Fawn Winter gifts stamp set. The little yellow star was cut out using a die that came with the stitched journaling card set also from Lawn Fawn. You can't tell from the photo but I used the clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on all the large stars of the background. It is so pretty and sparkley. I am really enjoying this class.
Here's another look at the card.
For the inside greeting I used some old stamps I had from DOTS (now known as Close to my Heart). I also used the Wink of Stella glitter pen on the greetings instead of embossing them. I think next time I would probably emboss them though as I think I like the look and little bit of dimension it gives them.
Until Next Time
