Goodbye and Hello

It's time to say Goodbye to 2013 and Hello to 2014! 

If you have been reading my blog for any length of time then you know that I do not make New Years Resolutions because quite frankly I am not so great at keeping them.  Back in 2010 I jumped on the One Little Word band wagon and haven't looked back since.  One Little Word is all about choosing a word for the upcoming year and then seeing where that word takes you throughout the year. I first heard about this concept through Ali's blog back towards the end of 2009 and the idea just really spoke to my heart.

My word for 2014 is Commit.

 

I am excited to see what journey this word will take me on this year.

There are so many things that jump out at me that I either need or want to commit to:

• Having a quiet time each day so that i can have a quality relationship with God
• My husband so that our relationship will grow stronger and even better
• My family to have closer bonds and quality time together
• My photography so that I can become more confident and grow in my skills
• and the list goes on but you get the idea

My previous words have been:

• 2010 - Explore
• 2011 - Focus
• 2012 - Learn
• 2013 - Listen

These words have become a part of my everyday life and are near and dear to my heart.

Audryna 2 months

Facts at 2 months:

• You weigh 10 lbs 13 oz.
• Your 24" long
• You are still eating 6 ounces at a time
• You are making more and more cute baby noises
• You smile more often and are really alert
• You still sleep a whole lot
• Everyone who is around you comments on what a good baby you are
• You like to be held in a sitting up position

We love you sweet girl!

 

I will continue to work on my photography skills along the way and hopefully they will show growth as well LOL.

Audryna 1 month

Audryna or Audi as we like to call her is already one month old.  

Audi,

Facts at 1 month: (Actually 5 weeks)

• You weigh 9 lbs 14 oz
• Your 22" long
• You are eating 6 oz. at a time
• You are staying awake a little more however you still sleep an awful lot
• You are very content as long as you are fed and dry
• You love to be held
• You are starting to make the cutest little baby noises
• Currently you have a slight cold but your still so happy
• Your daddy calls you peanut

We love you sweet girl!

I am trying to take a new photo each month with these cute decals that my friend Krista recommended from a great Etsy shop called Budda Bellies.  They are so cute and again you will be seeing George in all the photo's as a reference to show how Audi is growing.

 

Here's the one I took of her again at 4 days old with George.  (My daughter said he looks like a creeper in this photo) I will not have him hugging her in future photo's because we all know Curious George is not a creeper LOL.
