Kayley had been looking into getting a Golden doodle ($650.00 +) or a Labradoodle ($2,500.00) for quite some time but they are so very expensive and she just couldn't afford to pay the high prices they were asking. So she started looking at Rescue groups and came across this little guy who is some sort of poodle mix and had the look she was hoping for so on August 29th I took a little road trip with Kayley to check out a cute little rescue pup. We made the hour and 20 minute drive up to Woodland where we met two very nice women who work with a pet rescue group and had brought us this little ball of fur to see if he would be a good fit for Kayley and our family. This is the picture that Kayley saw on the rescue groups site.

Right when we got out of the car he ran straight to Kayley sat on her feet, put his head on her legs and looked up at her with the sweetest eyes and I knew right then they were meant to be. Needless to say he came home with us. The best part he cost her a whole $10.00 YES ten dollars plus a $50.00 deposit that she will get back once he is neutered.
The lady from the rescue group had wanted to see his eyes so she cut his furry face and she admitted she didn't know much about grooming dogs LOL. This is what he looked like on our car ride home.

All that fur really made him look much bigger in this picture than he really is. He weighed about 12 lbs. He is such a good boy and Kayley named him Noah. On the way home we stopped at Petsmart to buy his crate and some toys along with bowls, brushes and other essentials. He rode in the car so well and loved everyone he came into contact with. When we got home he even met Whiskers whom he loves but doesn't seem to understand that old Whiskers doesn't want to play.

The next morning would be his first day going to work with Kayley.

Kayley's friend Ashley is a dog groomer and came over to try and even out poor Noah's coat. After his hair cut he reminds both Ron and I of a little lamb.

I think the above photo is one of my favorites of him.

He loves to play with toys and I love trying to capture him doing it.

Although he is learning that playing in the mud will make his humans a little less than happy LOL.

He's even been labeled the binky theif LOL.
A bit of back ground on Noah. He was found by Animal Control running down the side of a highway they picked him up and placed him in a shelter where no one claimed him. He then went to live with a nice lady who volunteers and fosters pups for a rescue group. He finally found his fur-ever home on August 29th. The rescue group thought he was about 5 months old but according to the vet they think he was more like 3 to 4 months old according to his teeth.
We couldn't be happier with this little ball of fur who has taken over our home and our hearts.
Until Next time.
